Hi, like everyone I've been in the background of this forum for awhile now and deicide to join the community finally.
The car is my first and only a 1L.
Just had some JOM coilovers fitted.
Pressed plates were put on today.
The wheels I have no idea the name only that they are AEZ. Tires are 195/45/15.
Nothing to special just nice a simply.

Thanks for the compliment. Ive got more plans for it yet like seats and black roof lining and if im lucky a gti splitter. A year yesterday. Yourself? Anyone in and around the Gloucestershire area.

haha i passed my theory on friday... so pretty much two weeks . When i've got the money then lowering will happen, probably be in a year and insurance renewal comes around with a 1 year NCB xD.

looking good mate do you know if the colour is surf blue?
and how far have you lowered it on the coilies?

Im not to sure. I actually need to find out as colour coding would be good. The front is about 60-70 and the back 40-50. They are low as I dare without arch work being done. Already had some rubbing on the front.

I want to get a air filter but not sure which to get. Something to make the 1l sound a little sweeter. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Firstly your car looks very nice indeed

As for the Air Filter the cheapest solution would be a replacement element such as K&N, BMC, Pipercross or Green etc.
If you want it to sound more throaty then get yourself a BMC CDA induction kit

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah I think ill go for the kn 57i. Not to expensive and when I do want some noise ill just rev the little engine. Just dont want it all the time, looking like a boy racer and their universal exhausts. Do you think an BMC is worth it on such a small engine?

You wont really see much (if any) power gains from fitting an induction kit on such a small engine so in that sense its not money well spent.

What attracts most people is the noise that a good induction kit generates, its not all about power at the end of the day, making the car sound nice is important too in my opinion. They also look cool under the engine bay, especially the BMC CDA's which are wrapped in Carbon Fibre Vinyl.

Thats great. Power gain is not important I agree with the 1l. Now ill to find videos of peoples with different induction kits now to see which sounds the best. Thanks for the quick reply btw.

It might be worth dropping Greg Perkins a PM because he has or had a BMC CDA on his 1.0 6N2.

I want to spray the rear badge black. Is it a case of just pulling it off. Best way to stick it back on? Any advice? Thanks.

BMC CDAs on the 1.0 are good. They improve throttle response (most noticable when climbing hills) and add a much more throaty sound
