i just saw a set of borbet b's on ebay.de 8x15 4x100 et 15 and was wondering if these would fit on a 6n ok or would i have problems?
also what width, offset would fit with no arch modifications. (i'm not into huge wheels, so small and deep dish is what i would want)
Thanx

Hey Metz,
Those wheels will rub like no tomorrow. They're most likely BMW E30 wheels, given the low offset.
If you're after something with less hassle, aim for an ET of 35 and a wheel width of no more than 7,5" or 7" to be even more safe.
Having said that, you can make everything work, and I know someone that made 9x16" wheels all round fit.

Thanx for the info m8, pity though as they look very nice with the massive dish.
Mind you i need to buy a polo first
what chances of a 6n for £1500?

you can probably find one!
I have put on 7x15's with ET of 35, and they are close at the front - I wouldn't want to go any wider. The wheels are in fact quite wide (the 7 inches is where the tyre sits) so you might get away with 7.5 but no guarantees!
the back is fine tho - no probs with 7.5's.

oh right, would 8x15 fit on back then with 7x15 up front? or would i be asking for problems?

to be on the guaranteed safe side, just go for the 7-7.5" wide 15s.
you will also need fairly low profile tyres as well

for the best handling etc.. go for 6.5-7" x 15 with 195/45/15 tyres.

Hey ya sed ET of 35 earlier. Any tolerence on that?
So far for a Mark 4 6N for 15" alloys you need...
4 x 100
195/45/15
ET35
7.5" Tyre Width Max
and thats without any wheel arch modding at all.
If theres any changes to that, or you can have a range of ETs or sumthin let me no plz!
Cheers

as long as sensible offset is retained... there will be no problems..
