is it true that for a rear disk conversion you need to change the front disks and the servo as well as the one selling the ibiza gti axle told me? or is he just fooling me??
he said that if I only use the rear disks only the front disks will be as large or smaller than the rear disks and therefore the brake bias changed. he also said that if the servo is not changed there will not be enough oil pressure for the rear callipers (as their piston is larger than the piston used for the drums) and the brakes will therefore not hold properly?? is this all true?

Thats a load of rubbish

To do a rear conversion, you need stub axles, carriers, calipers, discs and pads obviousley, NEW handbrake cables (if you dont change the handbrake cables, you wont have a handbreak), brake lines and couple of other bits.

thanks alex that's a relief hehe :)

so you think the 1994 ibiza gti rear components will do for the 6n2? he asked me 250£ for the lot (front brakes, servo, and whole rear axle) so I might manage to get only what I need for 125£ if he decides he'll sell separately!
