WILL 8x17 ET28 FIT?

Will these wheels fit when combined with a slight stretch on 205 40 17 tyres?

Hi ive got 17 x 8 wheels on mine but there et 48 i think so yours should fit as its not too dramatic a drop from standard which is still 35 i think as long as you dont go too low.
Also i have the tyre size your on about on mine and you dont really get any stretch with it but u should be ok

With 15mm adapters they would have been et33 but I couldn't get the shorter bolts that I needed. Therefore going to need 20mm adapters which can use normal bolts
