If you spec the bi xenons you get a sensor in the rear suspension and one in the top of the windscreen to sort out the self levelling. These will cause you all sorts of problem retro fitting them. Just get some aftermarket xenons as i have done....job sorted.

You could get away without the self levelling as they come with height adjusters. After Market kits are the best value but if it's OEM Xenons you are after then it is not going to be cheap.

Prepare for the shock of the cost of the lensors that control the auto levelling too....

b*******s to auto levelling being to anal Lolz. Fit an after marked hid conversion kit the lamps on polo are really good and you still get a god beam pattern. I have winter pack so headlamp washers are present but not heard of anyone being busted for hid kits tbh.if it comes into mot just fit your bulbs back in for it .

You guys are lucky over there, my Girlfriend's dad got done for having retro-fitted HIDs in his 100 series lancruiser high-beams on the weekend, cop was parked behind a tree and got him at 11pm in the middle of the bush. Quite a few people are getting nabbed over here now, I'm guessing the coppers are getting sck of being blinded while driving down the freeways now:) Now they're stinging people for incorrect usage of fog lamps too....
