A noise has developed worse tonight from beneath my car.
The noise comes from pretty much below the hand break lever in the centre of the car.
It is a knocking tapping noise heard for when going slow like 30mph and or over bumps :/

Not aware of a kurb earlier and because my car is low I reversed and hit the back box on the kurb.
Dont know if the exhaust has been pushed in a bit and knocking in the mid section now.
Tried to look under tonight but it's dark and the pipe/box was a tad hot.

Anyone shed any lights

Does sound like that it'll be the exhaust knocking as thats pretty much the only thing thats gonna run under the handbrake as you say.

If a couple of the mounting brackets are bent from the encounter with the kerb, its quite possible!
