Wing Mirror Issues

Im in need of a passenger wing mirror for my 6n2. But i cant find a silver one anywhere. I was wondering if one from a golf/bora would fit. I've been looking at golfs etc on the road and the mirror itself looks the same, im just not sure about the base and electrics.

I know some of the Golf MK4 lads fit Polo/Lupo mirrors as a mod, so I'm sure it's reversible. But it's not a straightforward fit, I believe you need to swap the mounting plates over.
