put everything you need on it from a Ibiza Cupra PD160.
PD injectors, turbo, intercooler etc and get it chiptuned, you'll have around 200Hp.
BUT!
use the gearbox also from a Cupra D, the one from a TDi 130Hp has longer gears and is alot "slower"
the on of the Ibiza FR 130Hp TDi is the same as the one in the Polo TDi 130Hp.
the gearbox of the Cupra was never used in a polo but it's bolt on.
i seen this alot of times and makes alot of diffrence,
2 friends of mine, both the same Ibiza's, one is an FR diesel and the other a Cupra D.
the one with the FR has done ALOT of changes, other turbo, exhaust... everything basicly, it runs 220Hp on dyno.
it was a smooth car and goes pretty well.
the other one had a Cupra D with only chiptuning on it, he had 201Hp on dyno.
they both did official 1/4mile runs,
the tuned FR did 14.6sec
the Cupra did 14.5sec
from rolling start they were about equal, but from +200Km/u the FR was faster, but not by much.
so if the FR has put in a Cupra gearbox it would be ALOT faster because it has much better (shorter) gears and pulls harder
the cupre gearbox also has a diffrential in it, so you still can get youre power down,
the FR with 220Hp was a absolute joke to launch
ps: 2 days ago i did a run agaisnt a Ibiza FR diesel stage 2 with 200Hp with my Polo GTI with 170Hp.
i'll show you the video of how "slow" it was...
he did win from me but you'll notice he diddn't get far away.
it was all rolling starts.
we only did 1 standing start but i messed up big time so the FR pulled away pretty bad
and in 5the gear rolling start it was also getting better away from me, all the rest i thought it was slow for his power.
beginning of the video the FR pulls away but that was nothing, we were getting "in to place" because it was uphill.
the action begins at 30sec, that was when the road became flat again
