Speakers stopped working

Hey there

I have 1 litre 6n2 and the standard speakers have given up with no warning. the CD player still works as it should just with no sound.

Also the warning beep when you open your door with the lights on does not make a sound any more either.

Anybody know what the problem/s could be?
