Which models have a DPF?

Does the 1.4 TDi PD 80BHP engine have a particulate filter?
I know the bluemotion does but not sure of it's unique to it.

I never got round to the bottom of this. The 70bhp ones and the older 75bhp never came with one, but I'm not too sure about the 80bhp one. The bluemotions did, but not too sure about the rest. Any idea if it has a DPF regen idiot light in the cluster?
Failing that, get underneath it and have a look!

i have it in a 170tdi and its a pain in the ass

i would have assumed ALL vag diesels have them, or they would all be sooty

Should have updated this, sorry.
For the record the 1.4 TDi PD 80bhp model does not have a dpf filter

Good to know! Any particular reason you were asking btw?
All of the new 2.0 CR diesels have DPFs, which is not cool
Might actually end up going for a TSI next...

Yeh needed to know which oil to put in. My mate pricing up the parts said long life is recommended if it has a dpf.
