I do apologise for posting in the wrong section to begin with;

I've heard you only need 4 or so clicks of the handbrake to safely park the car, I have to pull it all the way up until it goes no further! If I don't the car will roll! I was wondering if it was the handbrake cable, or actual rear brakes that needed replacing? Any help would be appreciated!

if its that loose it is probably both tbh. There's no way to tell without physically looking at them that i know of. But its not an expensive job to change the shoes and cables and you will notice a huge difference even on your footbrake. I didnt realise how crap my brakes were until ii had the drums all sorted out.
