Hi guys, im pretty new to the site and have already had a good look around and spoke to a few of you on here. i drive a 2005 55 5dr 9n3, its only a 1.2s aparently has 64bhp or something but it does the job for now :D.

want to firstly say thanks to MODDED9N who got me started on buying things haha, havnt yet got round to fitting the coilovers i bought from him, but hopefully i will have them on soon. i have a few ideas lined up, but as any idea i have, it takes a while as im a student and am terrible on saving money :)

heres a few photos on what im driving currently. photos relisted using photobucket. works better now :D

looks nice,

one thing i would do is replace the DIN tray under the head unit with the genuine one from VW, i got mine for like 18 quid would look much better imo.

thanks man.

i just had a go at raising the back abit. 3 full turns at the back, but the rain came before we could do the front.

will the driveshaft/wishbone etc all be ok when i go lower at the front? guy at the garage said "thats the lowest i would want to go"

You may need to get shorter drop links so the driveshaft doesn't rub. Other than that you'll be OK.

Nice pics.

Can I just ask how did you wire your head unit and what adapters did you use etc? I'm struggling fitting my new JVC headunit :(

I believe you'll need a can bus adaptor. But not 100% sure as I haven't had to deal with it yet!

hi dude, leveled it all out now, and got some 5mm spacers all round too... and some new stickers :D

anyway, yeah, when i full lock i can hear a clunk sometimes, thought it was my tire on the arch but is that the driveshaft? if so, is it a bad thing and will it bugger my car up?

Have a look at your shafts, see if thee's any marks on them. If it's them that's rubbing you'll notice a break in the dirt build up on it.

It could also be your springs turning as you turn. Mine do that

right so fitted the new grill the other day, pretty damn happy with it, but cant help think about a badgeless honeycombe?

also, looked at the driveshafts and look ok, hopefully its just the springs turning, maybe the helpers? also can i take the helper springs out to go lower?
