Got a mk4 6n polo 1.0 was wondering what engines fit apart from the obvious 1.4 1.6 and 1.9

Iv seen people swaping with the 2.8 vr6 and other larger engines just wondering if anyone had an idea on how hard and the rough cost for what i would need and would it be worth it ?

1.8T mate. Few changes to the mounts and some custom drive shafts. Find a decent gear box and loom and off you go. Although if i was you i would buy a nice GTI like mine.

yeah get a gti and put the mk4 in the shed and build a monster up its tempting

Yeah we will build up a beast of the 1.0. You tried adrian flux bay. They said £750 for me with 2 years no claims

eah i want to make it a long term project strip it right down put the gti suspension on it if i take the coilovers off build a monster tempteddd

yeah buddy, got this exam in the morning but could go in the afternoons. Get on the insurance. Don't declare anything yet and see what it looks like

Mate just looked at the add. I do recognise that car from ivy. needs some sorting out but we can get it up to scratch. Cheap but a lot of miles. Hopefully the engine management light is just some kind of sensor.
