Cute! (Polo, not the pink furry dice...). Aren't you finding the arm rest gets in the way of the handbrake and gearstick? I just keep mine in the up position all the time, and think it's a serious design flaw by VW.
Nice one on the numberplate - we only had the choice of two, neither of which were terribly inspiring so we went with the slightly more memorable one (SLU), which only brings rather negative words to my mind...
How is your fuel consumption? We've just done a 300 mile motorway journey (first since owning Polo), and only managed 41.7mpg, but then most of our driving is round town which gets about 37-38mpg.

Hi mate, nice car
Did you buy it from Abridge Harlow?

Thanks for your comments

Carol, my fuel consumption is amazing, my journey home after collecting the car was 250 miles and I stuck to 65-70 on the motorway and I managed 49.8 which I was really happy with. I mainly do motorway driving and I'm averaging 425 miles a tank, that's with the occasional lead foot syndrome

The arm rest is a little nuisance but I love having it there!
JIC Cracked, the car was from Abridge Harlow

The armrest can get in the way of the handbrake yup, but i tend to only use the armrest during motorway driving, i rarely rest my arm during normal driving
Bit out of topic, but does the polo have a hill hold function o_O?

Hey, yes, all the polo's have the hill hold function, still getting used to not needing the handbrake for hill starts.

They are the 17" Boavista alloys

They're not standard on the SEL but are available as an option extra, must have in my opinion
