Does anyone else get this? New Polo (March 2011) 1.4 85PS engine. At tickover speed slight rattlling noise from lower part of engine LHS looking from front of car. Raising speed slightly, noise stops or reduces considerably. Maybe this is normal? Aircon not switched on. Just worried it might be to do with cambelt tensioner(s).

It's either your AC or fuel lines vibrating in their mounts against the chassis of the car. This is a highlighted fix here in Australia and all dealers know about it, take it back to your dealer and see if tehy too know about it. They generally just add a further bracket to hold the fuel lines, ac lines just get bant a little more out of the way.
