I have recently noticed that when i brake there is a clunk sound coming from the driver side front wheel area. It only happens when i initially apply the brake and it i leave the brake on to carry on slowing down it works fine and doesnt clunk again. It seems to be happening 80% of the time and if i have gone over a few bumps and not braked for a while it happens more often. I do not get any noise when turning only when i initially brake. I also tried braking a lot more gently and the clunk it quiter. I have had the wheel off and it doesnt look like the pads are sliding around so dont think its that. Anyone have any ideas on what could be the cause??

Cheers Jake
