Hi All,
Just ordered a new Deep Black pearl 5dr GTI Polo as a daily driver and toy to play with and thought I'd say hello.
I'm a bit of a serial modifier as you can see from my last VW below and so will be comprehensively hacking and slashing at the car as soon as I know everything is okay as standard with it
I'll be looking at brakes, alloys, suspension, interior refit, engine mods and audio upgrades before even touching a remap as I believe this is the best way.
Piccies of the old Veedub below.

Loved this car.

With (
Green) and without (
red) nitrous dyno's

Install.
Cheers
John

Welcome to the forums

That Golf looks erm.. rather beasty. The dyno is pretty scary

Can't wait to see the results of the Polo GTI once you've toyed around with that

Cheers AJ,
Yep, even if I go potty with the Polo I doubt I'll get near what I spent on the Golf

Haha, wouldn't wanna imagine what all that cost though, you could have probably had an R32 and ended up with change

Get some pics up when you collect it

Don't worry I'm a bit of a Pic whore, so there will be plenty to look at.

I've specced Deep Black Pearl, but still have the option to change if I want (the lure of silver is great with me!)
They have said "around" November, so about 4-5months!!!!

Nice looking Golf mate.
I think VW have got a really nice little motor with this new 6R Polo, lots of Golf converts too by the sound of it. I've not driven the GTI, but my TSI, reminds me a bit of my old MK2 Golf, about the same size and really nimble.
Look forward to seeing your new Polo after a tinkering.

I doubt the 7spd DSG can hold the power without premature failure happening.
