Ill start my build thread again as I seem to have lost my old one :P .

This being my 2nd polo an upgrade from my 1.2 3cylinder washing machine  this was a 1.6 sport which looked like this
Image
and then got the black monza's on from previous car and gti grille and gti badges etc sprayed up rear badge black.
Image
Took a trip to powerflow where I got my custom made exhuast straight through cat -back and then fitted my BMC DIA to complement the sound of her
Image
After some thought AP coilovers were my choice, resonable price for the quality I thought, slammed all the way down at the back and few twists up on the front when first fitted.
Image
Got a FK debadged grill and Lamin-X yellow fogs
Image
Then came polybushes all round powerflex bushes and a whiteline rear ARB fitted at the same time.
8000k HID's then replaced my M-tec bulbs as I wanted something a little brighter, not saying the M-tec's were bad they were very good for the price, and LED number plate lights.
Image
Image M-tec
Image HID's
Then got some gti headlights which vastly improved the front end look
Image
uprated sounds inside orion speakers with a vibe active sub, does the job provides the bass notes, although am looking into something with higher SPL and louder outside bass booming for shows.
Then started carbon wrapping I think most people on here went through that phase a while back carbon wrapped B pillars, steering inserts, VW front badge and air vents.
Image
Image
and took out the rear adjusters from the coilovers to get some extra lows. and ofcourse the added window stickers ;) with a ukpolo sticker at the top!!
Image
Then sprayed up the normal nut covers into different colours which I thought is a different touch to the car
Image
Then recently fitted the LCR splitter, greenstuff EBC pads on the front and seat cupra strut brace ( which really compliments the rear ARB imo)
Image
Image
Image
and recently under went a full wash, clay, polish and sealant.

Thats everything up to date and in one place
Cheers
Matt

looks great mate! :D

maybe you should get a gti rear valance so the muffler tips would have a better placement?!

did have one sold it to MODDEN9N on here, as powerflow quoted me another £120 to move the exhuast up an inch or so , so it would fit nice in the recess so I thought better of it and thought its not too bad the way it is certainly not worth that. :D

I haven't cleaned it yet I guess theres a BMC cleaner fluid you just put in the filter ? I looked at it the other day does look quite filthy! and have you connected your cold air feed to the BMC or left it open like mine? any pics of urs? :P

and the valance was a shame maybe if I get more money I might re consider getting one again and getting the exhaust moved up

Thanks mate, first I lightly sanded down the caps with wet and dry to roughen the surface and get rid of the shiney coating, then got the paint from local garge that supply touch up small spray cans for doing panels (but halfords car paints exactly the same) I got perlescent paints too so they sparkle a bit better and then a double coat of lacquer over the top, apparently look good going along so im told! 8)
painted and lacquered in a day and put on the next day when fully dry :)

not sure about the cleaning, but my mate has a CDA version. he tells me to take it apart and wash by hand! i cant seem to find a BMC cleaner over here, so it seems anything else necessary. how are you going about it? before i start opening it up! :P

I would probably just take it apart and unscrew the tiny screws i think lol take the outside cone off and hopefully its an easy job to put back together! if not just spray some cleaner in there .. and let soak up a bit lol
