Does your TSi do this when starting from cold? Mine doe it just like the video.. :shock:

I have "hill assist" and this drops the revs to about 800rpm with the foot brake on. Release the brake and the revs go up to 1200rpm without touching the accelerator.

With DSG in 'D' , 'S' or 'R' this will move the car to a slow start on the flat or uphill. Looks to me like the guy in the video put his foot on the brake to reduce the revs,,,

Yeah it was just an observation, just happened to notice someone had actually gone to the touble of sticking it on YouTube. It's new cars, they're too clever for their own good.. :)

Yes, mine does this. Annoys the hell out of me because it sounds so rough and lumpy for the first few seconds. Something to do with keeping emissions down I believe. Still don't like it though.

Yes mine does that too.

Sounds like a bag of spanners for a minute or so, then she's off !!!!
