Hangovers

Just wondering on the best way to shift. Got in about 5.30 this morning (from work) and downed a half pint glass of red wine with a microwave curry to induce sleep more easily. Head now understandably feels like death.
I figured on a couple similar glasses of coca cola being the best option (it's like lucozade mixed with red bull, but a little more dilute, better tasting, and far cheaper)... it's done a grand job of restoring energy and waking me up, but still feels like hell internally!
Hair of the dog?

A bit late now but with Prevention being better than cure, I find a pint or 2 of good old fashioned water before sleep/passing out usually stops the hangover in the morning.
Although if you do have a hangover sometimes a pint of ice cold orange juice or bowl of chicken soup may well help.

The others are void (fell asleep almost immediately after downing the drink - bit of a waste I know - and used up the last chicken soup on friday) but the orange juice might have helped
This post brought to you by a new, near-silent fan setup in my PC, which is now helping the situation (i thought it was quiet this morning; it was like a jet in comparison)

Okay, getting all medical on you a bit these are the best options:
* Water...best before you go to bed but essential after too.
* Berocca- get it from Boots etc in a tube from a company called Roche. Little orange tablets. One in a pint of water and you're sorted after a bit. Wicked stuff.
* Orange juice mixed with water (1 part OJ to 2 parts water). Your body needs to replace the minerals etc that it lost but can't cope with concentrated OJ so dilute it and take big gulps regularly.
Poor sod!

Did the trick this time - went to pub, came back, had another couple cans while on phone to dad, finished off with a pint (of H2O) and another by the bed.. everything's much clearer
