Hey everyone, just wondering whats everyone's method of cleaning your grills (not your teeth ) they are a bit of a headache to clean especially the GTI ones in particular, and they look a bit faded too. I just read in the gti section, someone painted theirs, but I find this attracts dust. any tips?

Sprayed mine with a couple of coats of auto glym matt finish black paint just for a touch up dries in like 10 mins and looks pucker!

Some people use Tyre black to brighten them up mate, I can imagine it also attracts dust & leaves etc but it does make the plastic look fresh.

I use autoglym vinyl and rubber care cleans them and makes them black again. Takes quite a long time but looks so much better

i always take off my gti grill after i washed the car and clean it properly with a brush. I used to spray it with black to black but that made it even worse to clean on the next wash. So i normally spray some dash shine on it and comes out mega clean!

I use tyre foam from auto gylm it's perfect I find as it dries back shinny and comes off easy when you want to wash it mate
