Has anyone taken the rear wiper off with the gti?

just interested to see what it looks like as im debating taking it off!

Dewipering is a common mod, and can be either done with a 25mm blank rubber grommet or a
Glass plug designed for this exact purpose which can be bought from venom motorsport! If you look at Beijing polos build thread, he has the glass plug in his and it looks good! Down side is that you have to keep your rear window clean washing it by hand and also if it rains, say good bye to visibility out the back! It's not an MOT fail because it's not even tested because it isn't a standard feature on all cars e.g. A big Audi saloon... Debating whether to do it to my 9n3 because I did it to my 9n and liked it but not sure about my

I personally think it looks better with the rear wiper left on. Looks a bit naked with only a plug in the hole IMO, and the lack of rear visibility would really annoy me as well.

Popular mod though so I suppose it can't be that bad...

Yer ive dewipered my previous cars and the visibilty can be a pain!

did the de-wiper mod last year, look better imho (read as cleaner)
