No MPG on display?

Can you get the average or current MPG to display on a Polo 1.4 SE? Or do you need to have the full 'MFD' Multi Function Display or whatever it's called? I've seen video's on youtube with the current MPG being displayed but I can't find it for the life of me on my car

The Midline MFD has fuel consumption displayed but I believe this is an option on the SE and standard on SEL. I don't know what the MFD displays on the SE but I suggest you read the manual.
