Mine...
The traditional Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2.
These are special order from VWRacing and don't have the cast "Motorsport" logo on the rim. They also are made specifically to fit the hub without needing spigot rings.
17" x 7.5" and ET36. Any lower than the pic below then go for a higher offset of about ET40-42 as initially I was lower than this and got the odd rub under maximum compression in dips, but as they are there is no rub at all.

Hi there gents....im new on here and i am an ex-south african living in Portugal but love this forum with all the useful help and info and great rides....just took delivery of my CW Gti and put on some h&r 25/40 springs already and looking at some alloys now.
I was thinking on some BBS either CH or CH-R in 18" as ive seen them on a red Polo in a turkish forum and quite like them. Just got a question about those...the CH i can get in 8.5x18" et35....and the CH-R in 8x18" et38, now my question is twofold, will th CH in 8.5 get some rubbing as i see most recommendations with an et 35 are 8J and they might be too flush with the fender? and the CH-R with an et 38 wont be flush enough? hope you guys can give some advice on this would be much appreciated. Tires will be 215/35/18.

Stick to the CH-R 18x8.0...not only do these wheels look better, but the CH 8.5 is too wide with those springs installed.
See the below post and scroll to bottom. The grey TSI has H&R 25/40 springs with 18x8 +35 225/35 and they sit flush. You will get rubbing with 8.5 et35.
