Got a lovely Shock Performance air filter on my motor this weekend, fitted by Airspeed. Sounds great - not too loud, but you can tell it's there, and it's definitely punchier on acceleration (once you're above 3500rpm)

Trying to get a club thing going - so if you're interested check out www.teamshock.co.uk (site was only just launched so it's not fully functional) which get's discounts from www.airspeedshop.co.uk

more info coming soon, but we should be able to get 10% off the stock that's online. Fingers crossed. I'll put a notice up on the club house section.

Right, have finally got a price:

from

http://www.airspeedshop.co.uk - mention dave sent you about the carbon fibre filter (as he doesn't have them listed on his site).

It's normally 110 + vat, but he'll do it for 90 + vat, so you're looking at £105.75 if my mental arithmatic is right.

I'm very happy - makes the 16v pokier. sounds good (not too noisy tho) you can hear a nice grunt with the window down, not as much with it up (it's grunty already). With an oil breather fitted (extra) I even have got more mpg!!

I'm sure this would help the 8v no end! my bird may get one on hers so I can report back to you guys.

Looks the part too (he's going to get black Shock stickers I think).
