Hello from a new member and new Polo GTI :D

Here's a few pics of my new purchase

My favourite option on the car, LED DRL Xenons

Coding tweaks for the digital speed and normal locking/auto close stuff all completed

It would be fair to say I have a bit of a thing for VW's, heres the new family photo, just missing my 19991 Big Bumper Mk2 Golf GTI 8v as it's off at boarding school AKA the Father in laws garage

Image

The spec my new car is as follows: -

1.4TSI 180ps DSG
LED DRL Xenon's
Climate Control
Sensor Pack
Convenience Pack

Basically as close to the factory spec I would have ordered as I could find.

Multi-function steering wheel buttons (R Line versions in gloss black to match the rest of the trim) have been ordered and an RNS-510 and bluetooth to follow shortly.

Also working on a design for a Mk6 Golf style rear view pop-out camera too.

Performance wise I am going to try to drive it for a bit but I am sure the calling to get it mapped will be too strong to resist :D :D

Welcome Mr Mk5GolfGTI.co.uk!!!! :)

Steve, you just purchased this from Birmingham VW (Johnsons) from under my nose??? If its the same car, which it looks like it.

I was ready to leave a deposit on it, when the guy at VW called me back to say it had been sold, after i had been trying to work out a deal all day, after visiting it the day previously. :D It was a great price, considering only 4500 miles on it as an ex-demo. They had another CW which they offered me, but the options on it were not as good and it was commanding strong money (as much as i got my brand new one for through work).

Oh well, not to worry. Its meant i have ordered one in the exact spec i wanted from work instead, as i preferred CW.

Enjoy!!! 8)

Ive ordered:

Candy White 3dr
Convenience Pack
Sensor Pack
Bi-Xenons with DRLs
MFSW
Climate

Mk5 looks a bit tasty! Any details!!! Hehe!!!

I am only changing the buttons, for wheels that already have the paddles you only need to swap these bits over plus a small control module in the base of the wheel.
