Stretch tyre help?

Been looking at a set of wheels which are 16 x 8",
And looking for tyres for them, im wanting a small stretch, nothing to big.
but i have no idea about what tyres i would need or what would be good,
any help would be appreciated! :)

175/50/ should do the trick or normal 195/45/ are ok if you want small stretch...

I have 195/45/r16 and there fine... :-) rub on the occasional bumps but so does any lowered car with wheels that big for it.

Plus the fact thy put your speedo out by almost 8mph at 70. Take my advice and get 40s

45s or 40s will be fine but at around 60 quid a tyre for 40s they ain't cheap.

I had 17s on my old 107 Peugeot and my speedo read correct up til around 90 so I dunno if it will throw it that much. Friend was following in his Clio 182 and was saying the same..... :?

It will trust me. I had 45s on my Gti when I first got it and the speedo was shocking. All cars are affected differently

I have 195/45/15 and my speedo reads 78 when the gps reads 70

That's crazy for not alot of difference considering I had a difference of normal 14's to 17's..... Lol.

This is in reference to 195/45/16s though which would be equivalent to a 195/50/15

If yours is that far out now ben, with a 45/16 it'd be well out.
