Digital speedo fault/problem??

I was driving to work today and I noticed my petrol and outside temp had disappeared from my speedo, So I stopped the car and turned the engine off waited 5mins then turned it on again.. Working ok now but for how long lol.
Just wanted to know if its happend to anyone else??
