any ideas on what are the best bulbs for the full beam and side lights on the gti xenon headlights to give a white ish light
to match the dipped beam of the xenon bulbs

The best bulbs for the GTI genuine Xenon Headlights are as follows
Dipped Beams

You will need H1 bulbs for the Full Beam and H7 Bulbs for your foglights
I would get these:
Full Beams (H1) - Osram H1 5000K

The H1 5000Km Full Beam Osram bulbs are not "Road Legal" but let’s face it you’re not going to be driving everywhere with your full beams on
