Does anyone know if there is one of these available for the 20v? Does this replace the dv or join on to it? Dont know much about them and would like to know :) Ive got a pal with a golf mk6 gti and is looking in to it, but i want 1 also lol :)

This is how these fit on the new 1.4tsi and 2.0t engines. It’s a completely different set up to the 1.8t. The black bit is the BOV so it just sits inbetween.

Cheers harney! Does this mean they cannot be used at all? How do u mean differant setup? I understand the basics but what is the differance between the 2.0t and tye 1.8t? Im sure i heard 1 on an old 20v cupra just wonderd. Plus ther is 1.8t petrol boras in youtube with them aswell as blow off dump valves

on the new engines the valve is mounted directly to the intake whereas on the 1.8t its plumbed into the pipework

Hope you can see the difference in fitment! The only thing forge do for the 1.8t to get a atmospheric dump is the split r which people report problems with. Im running a 007p valve from forge with a cone filter and done the n249 bypass to give better response from the valve. this gives a nice sound but not too loud like a scooby wannabe haha

What is a n249 by pass? Secondary air pump delete?

Ok cheers for that Harney. I understand now :) ive got an open cone and a 007 too not done the bypass yet might consider this.

Grind of mine running a split-r on bam engine never had any trouble with it at all.
