Hey all, im thinking about getting a pipercross open cone filter to make my 1.0L sound abit more like the Lamborghini it thinks it is

But I've heard that having different air filters or induction kits can mess up your ECU? I've heard that it can make it not want to tick over and will mess up the fuel injection timing and all sorts of horror story's!
Any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers

Yeah not expecting any power boost! just a little roar would be nice to listen to! I think its more of induction kits messing up your idling etc. but thats just what ive been told? no idea if its true or not!

Will have no effect on your idling I don't think like I said I only bought the BMC for a little roar and it was lame all about a non resonated stainless exhaust system!

makes it sound nicer

Yeah might be, if you're getting a good price it's worth a go.

It wont mess up your ECU or anything like that mate so dont worry
BMC would be a good option as its higher quality than anything Pipercross produce but if your looking for maximum noise then you need to ensure that the filter element is getting as much cold air as possible.
BMC CDA unit would be the best but they can be expensive, a good alternative would be the K&N57i Kit
