Knocking Noise (New Sound Clip!!)

Hi all
Got my car back in April...
Started hearing a knocking noise (comes & goes) when going over speed bumps and pot holes, coming from underneath about a month after, had it booked it with VW, they couldn't find anything wrong with it & said its safe to drive.
Still happening now!! Past couple of months I've noticed that when its been wet outside (rain etc) it always does it.
The noise is quite loud, like a big rattle coming from somewhere near the front I think! I tried recording the noise but couldn't get it
My mate has had it on a ramp and looked at everything but he cant find anything.
I'm just fed up with it now after so many months...
Hoping someone else has had this problem & can tell me what it is!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT!!!
Recorded more last night, put it altogether for VW
1.39mins of noise...

I don't think it does, normally braking when going near a speed bump but not sure if I carry on braking when going over it
What you thinking?

I think i've heard this noise myself. For me it sounds as if there is something trailing along underneath the front left of the car :/ It does come and go, hasnt happened for quite some time now, fingers crossed

What i mean is if it is noisey when driving and you press the pedal doe's it go? Is it a knock noise or a scraping noise? in a straight line or when cornering?

This is going on a straight road with 9 speed bumps in wet weather again
Even if I turn into a speed bump, it still does it.
The noise is much louder that the sound clip!! So I think you now know why I'm annoyed!

With the car stationary if you rock the car can you hear it? sounds like it maybe suspension related maybe a shocker top bush? can you not take this sound file to VW and let them hear it? Know it sounds daft but the exhaust isnt catching the noise shield when your going over bumps and the system shakes? Or nothing in the glove box rattling around?

Not tried rocking the car, good idea.
My mate said about the suspension, something about it not being greased up enough and when it gets wet the noise happens... Or something like that!
If it was the exhaust, it'd be happening all the time?
Nothing in the glovebox.

I think it is time for you to take it back to VW and get them to sort it out you shouldn't be expected to diagnose a fault on a new car. Ask can they provide you with a courtesy car while they take there time to find the noise maybe ask can they put their master technician on the job. Is the car under finance if so and vw won't sort the fault inform your finance company and let them know that vw are dragging their heels on sorting it, Finance companies have a bit of weight as they own the car until you make your last payment.

Just think mines different because it only happens in wet weather...
Been listening to noises on Youtube & it probably is something to do with the suspension & maybe a CV joint! Sounded similar.
Gonna do more recordings, make a video with the sound altogether & goto VW...

Is your car a DSG or Manual? The mechatronics unit when playing around can rattle and clunck and while this might sound odd, sound carries better in damp air due to the moisture content and it can make the sound seem louder, hence why it sounds more prevalent in the wet.
If you have a manual, then it could very well be another prevalent scenario with these cars in that the front spindle housing which carries the strut, ball joint, wheel bearing etc has been incorrectly machines and your front, passenger side wheel bearing is on it's way out or has potentially already died. Always the same side, the front left. Always on models with cast-in caliper carriers.
