Sooo Projectors

So! Purchased my HID's yesterday, only 6000k, i believe the more blue you get the chavier, anyways i'm obviously after some projector bulbs not to dazzle people, a few of my mates have got them and they never get flashed etc while using reflector headlights. Is there anywhere to get cheap angel eyes, below £100? £160-170 is very steep for them and also, is there a way of making a bodge job and installing a projector to the regular bulb?

Thanks :)

Also, will the HID just fit in with that cap there or will it be needed to removed? hopefully not! whats the glare like with standard lights? anyone got a picture?

The HID's wont just fit in through the cap, you will need to drill a specific sized hole into the bulb cover piece. Its really easy. Just below the bulbs on their wire there should be a rubber piece which will then fill the hole when installed and will form a tight seal around the hole you drilled.

With regards to projectors I wouldn't bother. I have had my HID's 6000k installed for over a year and never ever get flashed. Been behind plenty of police cars as-well and had no bother. Projectors are really expensive for what they are, however they add to the aesthetic appearance of the car.

i fitted Hids to mine my 9n with standard light and all i had to do was cut the rear cover to fit the extra cables. tbh i was always getting flashed when i had them like that, I then went and bought angels eyes for looks and less flashes, but i paid about £150 for mine from venom motorsport.
