POLO 6R FRONT GRILL

Im just weighing up mods i can do once i pick up my PoLo in March. Has anyone every changed the lower front grill to the SEL one?? If so whats it like to change? Is it a bumper off job??

Changed mine...
Pop the inserts off which are around the fog lights & then you'll see 2 screws
1-2 minute job
Paid £70 for mine off eBay

Can you get trade discount on a set of VW Motorsport alloys in gloss black? If so, i'll exchange my mint Boavistas with rubber for a set of them

Can anybody tell me how to remove the GTI grill as I wanna change the silver badge to red. I tried all the screws I can see but I don't want to yank it and break something.

Hey Danny boy, its canny easy to remove the front grill. First remove the screws then theres about four clips on the bottom of the grill just use a flat screwdriver to unclip them, then give it a gentle pull.. Thats what I did bud.
My Sel bottom grill is ordered, gonna paint the silver trim red to match my gti grill. I did previously put red tape on from halfrauds but kind of came off when I washed the car lol.
Think it would be better to paint the silver trim red so it dosnt wash off
