Has anyone got any info on this engine please, my car was ordered with this engine as apparently the only petrol engines that come here for 2012 will be std 1.2 or 1.2TSI 90 and 105 but for 105 there's an extra €2000!

I can't seem to find any info about the 90bhp one!

Hi mate, I very much doubt anyone will have driven one of these. The majority of the members of this forum are from the UK. The 1.2 TSi (90) is not available in the UK. I have a 1.2 TSi (105) and it's a great car so I believe the 90 version would also be great.

Does the title uk-polos.net not give it away? There's a few other forums you can try if you haven't already. I few I look at regular are Club Polo, VW Watercooled and motor-talk.de (using google translate as it's a German forum.) Have a look on them mate i'm sure there will be some useful stuff

I don't believe there is a 90bhp version. At least not in the latest German brochure anyway.

All 1.2 TSIs are 105PS/104bhp I thought – the only 90PS/89bhp cars are TDIs (also as a 105PS), and UK doesn't get this one anyway.

Only other unique engine to Europe is the Bi-Fuel with 82PS/81bhp...
