Hi everyone.
Just joined so apologies if this is a dumb question.

I have bought a 2004 1.4 TDI Twist Polo and want to change the HU. It has a tape player and was wanting to put an RCD 210 in.
Stupidly I bought one as it was advertised as coming out of a 2003 Polo. Don't always believe sellers. Lesson learnt there.
Apart from the facia shape being different, will it plug straight in with no need to rewire or worry about the battery being drained?

If the only difference is the rounded corners instead of square ones, is there an after market plate to make it fit or would I have to make one?

Sorry mate, that isn't going to fit in your 9N. Even if it was the right shape, it's probably got a quadlock plug whereas you need ISO plugs.

If you've only got the tape player and the cubby box, there's a CD changer that can be fitted in the cubby box space which might sort you out?
