For a while on occasions i would hear a clunking sound coming my drivers side front wheel when braking. It has now developed into a louder sound that happens every time i brake. It sounds like metal hitting metal. Also i wobbled the wheel around just to check if it wasn't my wheel that was on loose, and i could rock the wheel back almost to the point were its hitting the arch. Does anyone know the possible cause of this problem?

Thanks in advance

Jake

Have you checked lower wishbone ball joints? Also check wish bone rear bush as thy often wear.

Will most likely be the rear wishbone bush mate, fairly easy job if you've got the tools. May be worth investing in a power flex kit for both sides as these are a weak spot on this car!
