Please can somebody help, i have HK AK street coilovers currently fitted and they have been for the past year.
Since fitting them they have always made the horrible 'clunking noise' when steering, especially with heavy steering.
I have fitted the shorter drop links and this has raised the driveshafts well away from the ARB yet the clunking persists.
It sounds like the springs themselves spinning around, someone at the local garage said it was something to do with the top mounts but they were tight :S im so confused and pretty dis-heartened please can anybody help me ?

From what i have looked at on the internet apparently it is the helper spring binding with the top mount and the main spring ?
Anybody know the best way to fix this ?

Change top mount bearing first n go from there may have worn out bearing.

Thankyou, will do shall i buy ones specifically for the FK AK street coilovers or will normal polo 9n3 top mount bearings do ?
