are there any other options, and would this void the warranty on my new polo

Depends on how low you want to go, if its for every day useage go for a 30mm drop all round and it will sit nice on 17's any lower and its a headache especially if you have speed bumps to manage..

i have these coils fitted to my 6r mate, i live around speed bumps no problem at all just rough ride but well worth it just need a set of 17s to match haha, i say coils all the way i have mine on a 120mm drop, plus i can adjust the height when ever i want
