over temp

Hey there,
My car seems to be over heating all the time of late, instead of sitting at 80 to 90 degrees it creeps up to about 100 to 110. The over temp light does not come on and it doesnt rise any further. Has anyone got any ideas? I changed the thermostat in January so it may be that but it never gets hot enough to put the dash light on so it must be working in some way
I was going to check the fan fuse and see if its blown but thye fuse marking in the manual dont match the sticker in the glove box.
If its the fan thats not coming on whats the best way to test this?
Has anyone got a wiring diagram for the 16v?
Any help would be nice as im fed up putting the hot air on to cool it down in this great weather
