Winter Warmth Tip

The Missus complained the passenger side of the Polo was colder than the driver's side and fumbling round she discovered the glove compartment lid was really cold. Opening the glove box she discovered the ventilation hole, which seems to come either through the air conditioning when on, or outside when not, was open.
This was when it was -15°C mind. But it is definitely better with it closed...
