Hi Guys,

Just scanned the gti there today and a error came up as follows:

Control Module Part Number: 6Q0 820 045
Component and/or Version: Klimaanlage X0840
Software Coding:
Work Shop Code:
VCID: EAA7C1AB8571
1 Fault Found:
65535 - Internal Control Module Memory Error
00-00 - -

Did a search of the control module and it came up as Heater control module.
Now just last week when I turned the air con on, a wining noise came on and when I put my foot on the gas the noise got louder.
I can also hear the compressor

Any suggestions?

thats a common fault code across several different module,.

mine throws up a 65535 on internal control module but everything works as it should still.

Hmm yeh I read about it on different forums. But I know the problem is when I put on the aircon I can hear it making a winning noise along with the compressor making a hush sound?!?!?

Could this be the v68 motor????

Mine made that noise the other day and also the climate control display started flashing

Have you scanned with VAGCOM to see if you get the same error? I dont have climate control hence no error but do have A/C. Heating seems to work fine etc........
