Hi, I have just bought a 2001 6N2 Polo and the electric mirrors weren't working, so I assumed it was just the switch as I couldn't imagine both motors had failed. So, I bought a new switch off eBay. I took the door trim off and there are no wires going to the electric mirror adjuster switch nor can I find the wire that goes to it. I can see the wire going to the drivers mirror and the connection, but then it goes off behind the metal, and I've tried to put my hand behind to feel for a dangling wire, but nothing there. I can't think where it would be, unless the previous owner chopped it off for some strange reason. Does anyone have any idea where the wire would be? I know it sounds like a bit of a stupid question, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
