6N2 Electric Mirrors Problem

Hi, I have a 2001 (Y Reg) 6N2 Polo. I bought it a few days ago and the wing mirrors weren't working, so I assumed it was just a faulty switch. I bought a switch off eBay and went to fit it today. I removed the door card and discovered there is no wire going to the switch (I know I should have checked first really). But, I can't actually find the wire for it? Any help would be much appreciated
