Wrapped lights, illegal?

I wrapped my light in some left over laminex to see how it would look, only thing is it appears very very dark! Light shines through no problem but is it worth it will i get pulled over?

my advice is wait and see .. my old car had limo black tints all round never once got pulled for that reason

No worries cheers for that, Did have the rears done on my cupra and never had any bother but wasnt sure about the front. cheers!

I know SA is obviously different in rules and regulations - but yeah they don't frown upon your smoke/tint or yellow even (like i've done recently), some guys go light shade of blue as well.
Also if we do get pulled over and they claim that the light is not to bright for the road or it has decreased visibilty we ask them to test it with a (i'm sure there is a technical name for the device) light metre thingy

Cops don't usually drive around with those so they always let us go.
