Decat 1.4tdi 9N3 polo?

Hello again, and again I did a search and couldn't find much infor on this (but a lot on the 1.9's!)
Can I decat my 1.4tdi Polo? I.E, take Cat off, smash insides out, put back on? Or will I have to make up my own decat pipe?
Or does anyone offer a decat pipe for these? (Quick scou n ebay on various online shops says no
)
