Hi all, well i'm completely new to polo's. Iv had my little Austin mini for 4 years now so decided its time i grew up a little and got myself a nice sensible daily.

My initial thoughts are coil-overs, remove one of the wings and sticker bomb/clear lacquer it re attach.

Id also love some BBS, ATS Cups, Ronal Ts or banded steels but am currently broke after purchasing the car.

Before all this tho it doesn't seem to idle very nicely sort of judders, is this the same with all these little thee cylinders or is there something i should look out for.
Also anybody removed a wing? How easy was it? any help would be great :)

It really depends how bad the idle is, they do idle a little strangely but when I picked mine up it had the most horrendous vibration around idle - 1200 RPM. Took it in and it turned out it had a misfire and no compression in one of the cylinders! Maybe worth taking a wee look at it as it could even just be a spark plug gone.

Nice car anyway mate!

Ok yea i get a horrible vibration at idle id say bout 750 and it continues right up to 1100rpm? ill have a look otherwise i may clean the throttle bodies etc see if that makes any difference. Just when i open the bonnet there is plastic everywhere lol i'm use to a nice simple bay (ancient). Thanks it is pretty tidy.
