hi there guys
purchased my car a couple of weeks back.
so it was running all fine, parked up in my drive.
Alarm goes off nearly everyday, think its a bit too oversensitive.
anyways, i leave the car for a day or 2 without starting it.
went to go open the door, put my key in then the speedos starting going crazy. started clicking.
I just presumed it was a minor issue, nothing a jump start wouldn't fix.
Now on Friday, got it jump started, worked first time. So then i decided to take it for a drive just to see if the car was running fine etc.
Then weirdly the handbrake light started flashing on the dash. Also the ABS light came on too.
After i stopped and switched the car of to fill some fuel, started it again, the lights didn't come back on at all. my dash was clear.
Now on Saturday i started the car it worked, Sunday i started the car it worked. Monday, i decided not to start the car.
Now by tuesday the car was dead. Again.
What could be the issue?
Battery? My Alarm?
Any help would be much appreciated.

you got exactly the same problem I had mate, crazy dash and all. Check your alternator!
I had to jump start mine 4 times on the way home once because of it. I got a new battery thinking it might have been that but I checked the charges on the alternator and turned out it wasn't charging the battery properly so it kept dying.
As soon as the new alternator was fitted the problem was solved and has been perfect ever since. Hope this helps
