Going to Tescos today stopped at some lights and a one of those crappy citroen van things went up my arse. Must have been doing 10/15 mph. Anyway I got out of the car and saw the front of his van and is was mashed up! I though oh crap the back of my baby is going to be seriousley deformed! Anyway this chap said meet up just down the way where it was a bit safer and not blocking traffic. I got out expecting the worse. a couple of scratches and one tiny dint! I was so shocked. I now love my euro n cap 4* car more than ever!
Although my bloody neck and lower back are killing lol! Still proud of my baby though

. I would feel safe with my future children in that car lol.
Just thought I would share as I don't recall a convo about just how safe the 6n2 is. I'm very impressed.

you are a lucky bloke! still take it to an accident repair and get them to check it over often the boot inside where the spare wheel is crumples or creases under the pressure!
i had an accidient in a polo 2001 mk5 1.0L at between 35 and 40mph on a country road between two ploughed fileds the car hit mud that was on the road and was thrown sideways into the verge , (foot high virge) and the car was tipped over into the field and rolled 3 times in the air and 3 on the ground. i was not so lucky, the car was seriously airbourne and the roof in the end was as low as the seering wheel. i Broke my neck and had a 7 inch slice along my head, and half my ear hanging off.
this was between 30 and 40 mph!
the police got statements from people directly behind me and those towards me. the mud on the road caused the car on its tiny 13 inch bicycle rims to skid and the momentom of hitting the virge cause the car to roll. i tell you it hurts. i lucky am still able to walk as i had surgery fuesing my neck together with titanim plate and bolts.
this happend about 14 months ago and i still love the polo.
drive safely!
