They're just jealous

Thats looking sweet-as now.
Are your shocks adjustable then, seeing as it's sitting lower in your old sig pic than these ones?
Also considering the project low-cost tag, how much has it put you back so far to do all that work? Wheels and tyres and bumpers and grille and zorst and suspension and roofbox and plate and...............

I think that the low-cost tag is gonna have to go soon... The polo started by getting hand-me-downs from my mk2 golf.. but, hmmm, it's gettinga fair bit of cash thrown at it lately...
I'd say it's getting onto near £2k for all my mods..... (not including plate)

If the clocks could be rewound, I coulda sworn those shots of your car could have been used for a Mark 3 brochure. Its one sweet ride.

Thanks for the comments!
The plate's been on since Friday! Finally got round to getting it after years of wanting it! I've wanted the plate since before I got the net and is the reason that I chose my forum name when I first signed up on clubgti many moons ago..

dub envy,
do you drive everywhere with the box on the roof?
if so does it affect the mpg a lot?

Car looks really nice what you have done to it. I don't understand the roof box it doesn't make it look old school. It looks a bit out of place. What about a chrome roof rack like many mk1s have, that woud look ok.
Have you tried a bike rack on the car out the back and bull bars on the front, might be a new idea, then a trailer. lol
